The regional conference Spark.me has come to an end and with that the main competition of the event has also selected the winner which will get the chance to attend TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, as well as Battlefield Alley, with all expenses covered – and the winner is FishingBooker, a start-up from Serbia founded by Vukan Simic, and serves as an online marketplace that enables the usersÂ to list, find and book the best fishing trips worldwide.
The Spark.me Conference, organized in Montenegro included a two day program with great speakers and workshops, with names like John Biggs, East Coast Editor of TechCrunch.com, David Raskino – Entrepreneur. Coder. Director of Microsoft Ventures, Drew Banks – Entrepreneur. Author. Head of International at Prezi, etc, while everything concluded with the final startup pitch part of which were a total of 10 startups: 3DHair (Germany), Anchor Travel (Russia), COFA Games (Serbia), CryberCity (Serbia), Edgar (Slovenia), FishingBooker (Serbia), Fliiby (Serbia), Ingen.io (Czech Republic), Live Good (Croatia) and Meetey (Israel). Top 3 of the list included Live Good, Edgar and Fishing Booker.
The .ME Registry, operator of the .me Internet extension, has also organized at the Spark.me conference a Startup School, envisioned for startups in early phases of development (before their first investment).
