Further to LAUNCHub’s new initiative Monday Office Hours for talking to the best tech entrepreneurs in Southeastern Europe, the Fund announced earlier today the selected six companies that they met during the past two months for the Eight edition of the Long Weekend Selection event coming up in the first week of February 2015. After three days of intensive work with the teams, including coaching and mentoring the LAUNCHub investment team will decide on the most promising projects to be offered investment of up to 200 K Euro.
6 teams with founders from Bulgaria, Serbia, Finland, Slovenia, Croatia and Finland will arrive next week in Sofia to make the best pitches and compete for seed funding from LAUNCHub. The selection comprises products and solutions aimed at bridging technology in areas like football, house-management, office-planning and travel services, also mobile apps building technologies.

Appzio (Bulgaria, Finland)is a platform for native mobile applications building, without the necessity of writing a single line of code.
Cityzenic (Serbia) is a platform for personalized travel experiences, providing travellers with special advice, based on local expert knowledge.
Fieldoo (Slovenia) is a marketplace, where football players get access to agents and clubs.
GoMama (Bulgaria) is a solution for hiring personal housemaids.
Office RnD (Bulgaria) is a solution representing a smart office-space planning and management platform in the cloud.
TapeRecorder.io (Croatia)is an SDK solution for mobile apps that allows you to make and analyze video recordings of user sessions.
Within the three-day Long Weekend programme, LAUNCHub will also host the first edition of the Founders – Talks FFGE. Event, bringing live the best entrepreneur success stories from Sofia all the way to the Silicon Valley. The Monday Office Hours will continue to run within 2015.
