Six Croatian tech companies have made Deloitte’s list of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe.
Next on the list was the electric car and parts manufacturer Rimac Automobili in 20th spot, followed by software design and development firm Axilis (22nd), Zadar-based digital marketing company Telum (23rd), mobile phone manufacturers and tech firm Hangar 18(28th) and software development outsourcing firm Serengeti from Zagreb in 39th place.
Out of all the Croatian tech firms on the list this year, only Serengeti featured in the last year’ss Deloitte Technology Fast 50.
All of the five top tech firms on this years fast 50 were making their debuts on the list. First place in the 2016 ranking went to the Polish tech marketing hub and software business Codewise, whose amazing three-year growth rate of 13,05% eclipses the still highly impressive 4,555% it recorded in 2015 when winning the Rising Stars award. Unsurprisingly given this growth rate, Codewise also won the Big Five award this year.
In any other year, the second-placed CodiLime software business, also from Poland, would have dominated proceedings with its exceptional three-year growth rate of 5,038%. Third place in the Fast 50 goes to Czech IT services company Dataspring, with its three-year growth rate of 3,129%. Slovakia’s JUMP soft was fourth (1,965%) and fifth place was claimed by another software business, NSoft (1,760%), this year’s only entrant from Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Poland has 17 companies in the ranking, the Czech Republic has 7, Croatia 6, and Slovakia 5. Croatia went down from 8 firms on the list last year.
