Organizers of Spark.me have has just confirmed a keynote speaker – Veronica Belmont, an online media personality, a startup advisor, speaker, and podcaster from San Francisco, with more than 1.7 million Twitter followers, is coming for the event in May, in Budva, Montenegro.
Veronica has been working in the tech and media industries in a variety of capacities since moving to San Francisco in 2004. As a writer and video reporter she worked with CNET Networks and Discovery Digital, heading up their flagship technology podcasts and video review shows. This love of innovation has led to advising many startups throughout the years, including Goodreads, about.me (now a board member), Soundtracking, WeGame, Forge, ChicCEO, and more.
On TV, Veronica was the host of the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special, and Gizmodo: The Gadget Testers for BBC America; she has interviewed the casts of popular TV shows ‘The Walking Dead’ and ‘Game of Thrones’ on the red carpet; and has appeared as a tech expert and commentator for many programs. As an event host and emcee, Veronica has worked with clients including Sony, IBM, Disney, Intel, Chevy, AOL and many more. Spark.me tickets are available at the conference official website, at www.spark.me. The full price of the ticket is 250€. However, all interested parties can take advantage of the Reduced Rate and get their Spark.me ticket for just 150€ or 70€ in case of a student ticket, until April 11. Tickets can later be transferred to another person (â€œname changeâ€), but they cannot be refunded. Student tickets are available to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students 27 years old or younger, and to those who will graduate in 2016.
