A round of speakers announced for this years Doku.Tech in Prishtina, Kosovo

Dokutech is an annual tech event in Prishtina, Kosovo that brings together individuals and tech talents with international speakers to meet, share and discuss around social implications of technological innovations through connectivity, masterclasses, workshops, and openness.

Under this year’s motto “One person’s craziness, is another one’s reality”, DOKU.TECH has already brought to life new details around the speaker line-up for this years edition which is happening on June 9 – 10 at Termokiss in Prishtina.

Zachary Batstone has been announced as the first speaker, a game-changer who revolutionized the shoe industry. As a teenager, Zachary Batstone worked in Peru with street children doing community development and rehabilitation. In 2016 he co-founded Z Shoes which aims to redesign the show industry.

Engineering lead & educator & public speaker, are just a few from what, Alex Qin does. She is a Brooklyn based programmer, educator, and public speaker. She believes in universal access to computer science education and in the importance of building technology for good.

Considered among the “Top 10 who are changing the world of politics on the internet”,  Marko Rakar is a Chief executive manager of the consulting company MRAK services ltd headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia. Rakar has a life-long experience in working/writing for media as well as knowing how to deal with media in certain situations…

Other speakers include Mathew Collin, a British journalist, and editor who has written a series of critically-acclaimed books, the recently-published Rave On, which documents the global electronic dance music culture. He worked with big names such as BBC, Al Jazeera, Agence France-Presse, i-D magazine, the Time Out website and The Big Issue are only some of the big names he has worked with! A Hip Hop Fusion music artist, DJ, songwriter and educator, LiKWUiD (Stylez), is also announced among the speaker line-up.

More details around will be shared in the coming days, while in the meantime it’s worth mentioning that the event is FREE TO ATTEND as usual, and all you need to do is register for a ticket online.  Among other things besides speakers, the event features a tech fair and some super exciting music events happening around the conference venue or in specific locations in the capital of Kosovo, which just recently was featured in an article at The Llonley Planet, for the top 10 best places to visit in Europe in 2018.

The past 4 events (2014-2017) convened over 5,000 attendees and more than 50 worldwide renowned speakers. DOKU.TECH 2018 takes place on June 9-10 in Prishtina and August 4 in Prizren.
