Biggest Webit Congress ever, kicks off in Istanbul

Thousands of participants from over 103 countries are attending this years edition of the Global Webit Congress in Istanbul, which started Wednesday at the Halic Congress Center in Istanbul.

Plamen Russev, CEO of WEBIT said Istanbul will host the biggest congress held so far in Webit history, following London, Cannes, Barcelona, New York, Cologne and Austin. Russev praised Istanbul as “being at the crossroads of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia” and noted the city was the perfect option to discuss future of global digital technology and telecommunication.

During the two days of the congress more than 250 presentation will be made from the sectors leading voices, while Aniela Russeva, Executive Director of the Global Webit Congress, said it was great that brightest and most effective representatives from the digital technology and telecommunication sector would participate in the congress.
