This January, The Ministry of Economic Development of Kosovo is hosting the annual conference on Cyber Security where authorities like the Policy, National Agency on Data Protection and other relevant authorities are expected to participate on discussions, panels and speeches.
With a focus on three sessions, the conference on Cyber Security in Kosovo starts on 18th of January with 20 speakers on Cyber Security and Privacy, in different panels including: Cyber Crime, Financial Cyber Security, National Cyber Security and Privacy. On the next day, there’s a dedicated activity that is also known as “The DAY when hacking is legal”, where selected white-hat hackers try to break authorized websites for around 8 hours, and for every bug they find the get rewarded. The final day of the conference features closing sessions with law enforcement agencies from Kosovo and the region.
Hacking and privacy breach experiences…
Some speakers besides respective Ministers and Institutional Leaders, include Tomas Gulbinas, Public Policy Team, Central and Eastern Europe at Google and Christian Perrella, Facebook, while the speaker list includes also artist names who will speak about their experiences with hacking and privacy breach.
