The organizing team of Spark.me, has just confirmed a new speaker for Spark.me 2016 – Dave Haynes, part of the investment team at Seedcamp, the leading First Round Fund based in London.
Seedcamp is a pre-seed and seed stage fund that provides globally ambitious founders from around the world with up to $200k and a lifelong platform of support to help them grow exponentially. In his role on the investment team, Dave sources new startups whilst supporting a portfolio of 200 companies that includes Transferwise, Property Partner, Revolut and two Serbian startups, TruckTrack (Spark.me Startup Competition 2013 Winner) and, more recently, Buildcon.
Dave has extensive startup experience as both an operator and founder, now focusing on the investment side. He was part of the early team at SoundCloud, helping the company grow from launch to the world’s leading online audio platform with 250m monthly users.
Previously announced Spark.me speakers include Jon Bradford (non-executive director of Central Working; director of the Bradfield Centre; co-founder of F6S and Tech.eu; the former Managing Director of Techstars in London), Annie Machon (former intelligence officer for the UK’s Security Service, MI5), Danica Kombol (CEO of the Everywhere Agency, a leading social media and influencer marketing firm), Marvin Liao (partner at global seed VC firm and startup accelerator, 500 Startups, based in Silicon Valley), Scott Morrison (former Marketing Director of Diesel, Levi’s, and Activision; founder and bringer of ‘The Boom!’), and Veronica Belmont (an online media personality, a startup advisor, speaker, and podcaster from San Francisco, with more than 1.7 million Twitter followers!).
Spark.me tickets are available at the conference official website, at www.spark.me. The full price of the ticket is 250€. However, all interested parties can take advantage of the Reduced Rate and get their Spark.me ticket for just 150€ or 70€ in case of a student ticket, until April 11.
Tickets can later be transferred to another person (name change), but they cannot be refunded. Student tickets are available to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students 27 years old or younger, and to those who will graduate in 2016.
Spark.me, one of the biggest marketing/Internet conferences in Southeast Europe, will be held on May 28-29, in Hotel Mediteran, in Budva, Montenegro. The conference has been organized annually since 2013, by Domain.ME, a private company in charge of operating Montenegro’s national Internet domain – .ME.
