DOKU:TECH Special Edition will be drawn from Laura Mersini–Houghton, the Albanian/American cosmologist, who will present an unrivalled theory of the universe as a wave function on the landscape multiverse, which she propounded among the world’s most influential scientists, such as Michio Kaku, Neil Turok, and Andrei Linde.

Laura Mersini-Houghton is a cosmologist, theoretical physicist, and associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, believes strongly in the Multiverse hypothesis which holds that our universe is one of many. Given the scientific data, the question is not if there are multiple universes. But which one we are in, claims the BBC Documentary which featured Laura Mersini-Houghton among other scientists.

Mersini-Houghton received her B.S. degree from the University of Tirana, Albania, and her M.Sc. from the University of Maryland. She was awarded a Ph.D. in 2000 by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The launch of DOKU:TECH Special Edition will also be marked by the curator of DOKU:TECH, Kushtrim Xhakli, who will commence the event by sharing all preparations regarding the conference, this year’s keynote speakers, workshops, masterclasses, and all exclusive details of DOKU:TECH during August 6-7, 2016 in Prizren.

DOKU:TECH Special Edition will open the doors tomorrow at 17:30 p.m in **Amfiteatri i Madh**, Faculty of Economy, University of Pristina.
