Aladdin Knowledge Systems Inc. founder, Yanki Margalit is coming down to Prizren, Kosovo for Dokutech and he’s about to share an exciting talk on his outlook for the future, a world of “homo-sapiens 2.0”, where technology will be integrated with humans and something that he calls as a total integration of carbon and silicon.â€
Yanki Margalit is an Israeli entrepreneur and investor, best known for starting the security company Aladdin Knowledge Systems, which was sold in 2009 for 160 million dollars. He is a partner in investment fund Innodo Ventures and a chairman of several technology startup companies, including SpaceIL, which shares a vision same to that of Elon Musk’s SpaceX, on sending people to space. SpaceIL is a non-profit space technology organization that plans to land an unmanned spaceship on the moon by 2015 and is currently competing for the Google Lunar X Prize.
Yanki shared on an interview that said that he’s always happy to escape the Israeli bubble, and get closer to talented, active and enterprising young people in other parts of the world. The latest investment from Yanki is the iOS and Android app Drippler that delivers news about your smartphone and recommends new apps, while according to Crunchbase he has another investment in Scoreoid, a start-up based in Tel Aviv.
