Facebook posts can now be embedded

Facebook has announced that starting from today it will launch a new feature called embedded posts, which in principal gives you the possibility to embedded a picture, post or video on Facebook or any other web page, as long as the post is public.

The process is almost identical with the integration of Youtube videos, Twitter or Instagram links, while in the moment that you post the embedded code, itâ€s like having a bit of Facebook in your website. Visitors can like the post or it is a post from an individual they can comment on it, by following the original post. For example:

The possibilities of Facebook integration are limited on 100 – 150 words, while to watch more the visitor has to click “see more” and click on the original file.

The feature for the moment is limited only for CNN, Huffington Post, People and Mashable, while for other webpages it will be released soon. This latest move from Facebook has off course raised privacy concerns , but it is adviced that on this stage you take a good look at your profile security and sharing settings.
