White Nights Helsinki is one of those events where experts and developers meet for two days to talk about game development and marketing, and the best thing is that they meet in Helsinki, Finland, the city of Rovio of Angry Birds and Super Cell of Boom beach.

Over 800 expected participants will be able to enjoy workshops, presentations, awards and fun from companies like Unity, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Wargaming, Next Games, Supercell and Rovio.

This year, the international game development and marketing conference is expanding its offer with exciting presentations from the field of PC and Console. This step should bring the cross-platform branches from eastern and western Europe closer together.

Additional high-quality tracks for PC and console have been added to the conference program. The newly added speakers include Ilari Kuittinen, CEO of Housemarque, who will address the changes in the games industry over the last 20 years.

The organizers have also announced the White Nights Super Raffle. There will be a drawing for spectacular prizes from all the business cards thrown into the pot on the first day. All participants have to do is register an account with the White Nights app.

Prizes include a quadcopter with camera from DataLead, an Amazon Fire 7″ display tablet, a Samsung Gear S2 watch from European data center operator DEAC, and an Xbox One from Microsoft.

The winners will be announced on Friday the 12th of February between 18:30 – 19:00, during the Indie Game Cup awards ceremony. Only those who are present can win.

Another awards ceremony is the White Nights Game Industry Awards, a prestigious award in five categories (advertising platform/traffic provider; analytics platform; localization service; sound in games; platform partner relations) for outstanding professional services in the games industry.

The winners are determined by a public vote in two rounds. The winners will be announced on February 11th as part of the official party in the Club Capital. You can find the conference program here.
