BONEVET for the second year in row celebrated Genuino/Arduino Day which is a worldwide birthday celebration of Arduino. It was one-day event, organized directly by the community, where people interested in Arduino got together, shared their experiences, created and learned more.
A lot of activities were held in BONEVET to honor this worldwide famous Arduino day. The day at BONEVET started with two-hour long workshop where everybody from the community could participate. In the end, they were about 20 participants in this workshop, including here members from Girls Coding Kosova, Prishtina Hackerspace, and lots of youngsters interested in technology. They had the opportunity to hear a lecture from Berat Bejtullahu, mentor of Arduino at BONEVET, and afterwards they worked on their very first projects using the Arduino modules.
The event was followed by a small cocktail where participants had a chance to network with each other sharing their experiences in technology field, and not only. At the end of the day, BONEVET makers presented their projects that they have created with Arduino microcontrollers in front of many guests. Some of the projects were the Robotic Hand, Thermometer, LED Advertising Glass, Electronic Distance Scale, Meteorological Station, etc.
