Globacore, brings a classic game to the virtual reality

The new opportunities that are coming with the virtual reality, have pushed forward the tech company from Canada called Globacore , to create something not similar of Counter-strike or Skyrim, but of a simpler approach.

They have expressed their wish to create a virtual environment of the classical game Paperboy, launched on Atari, which in the new format is powered by a professional bike for exercises, a Kinect camera and a Oculus Rift device. A device that follows the bike called Kickr , enables the developers to follow the speed of the pedals, while the Kinect follows the movement of the hands during the through of a newspaper, while Oculus Rift brings it all together in a virtual reality.

The result is Paperboy VR, a combination of virtual reality and classical esthetic elements. Until now the game is only available in the offices of Globacore, but they hope to take it out of there soon. Check out the video for more details.
