Join the Start Trek Tour and Meet Startup Influencers from All Over Europe

Eleven Accelerator and its partners host local events in six cities in CEE and bring along inspiring entrepreneurs, investors and partners from all over Europe

StartTrek is a series of startup events taking place in six cities in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The tour is organized by Eleven Accelerator and its partners, and in 12 days will visit Istanbul, Bucharest, Belgrade, Podgorica, Zagreb and Sofia. The mission of Start Trek is to inspire the local startup communities and empower community leaders from all over Europe. It meets influencers from highly developed startup ecosystems like London, Berlin and Dublin, with local entrepreneurial activists, giving them the chance to mingle along an exciting journey across the region.

Each local event includes a pitching session for local startups, inspirational talks from foreign and local community leaders, workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions with the speakers, and ends with networking drinks.

The speakers and mentors on the Start Trek crew are some of the most inspiring entrepreneurs, investors and partners from Eleven’s network, including David Scanlon (Enterprise Ireland), Lorcan O’Sullivan (Start in Ireland), George Dita (How to Web), Lucie Montel (Rainmaking Loft), Salim Virani (Founder Centric), among others.

As part of the tour, Eleven exclusively invites all startups from the region to pitch their business at any of the six local events, get instant feedback from experienced investors and an invite to Eleven’s Selection Days in November 2014, when the fund chooses its next investees. Startups that want to pitch, need to apply here at least two days prior to the event.

The tour starts with Istanbul (Sep 29), continues with Bucharest (Oct 2), Belgrade (Oct 4), Podgorica (Oct 6), Zagreb (Oct 8) and ends in Sofia (Oct 11). All the events are free, except the last one in Sofia where Start Trek joins forces with Startup Conference NEXT. The full information about the tour can be found on
