Lokacion.com, brings Street View to Kosovo

Google Street View is a technology featured in Google Maps and Google Earth that lets you explore places around the world through 360-degree, panoramic, and street-level imagery. A similar technology has been applied by a new startup in Kosovo as well, named lokacion.com (read, eng. location).

The startup that launched last week, offers different marketing services for businesses through a variety of priced packages and also some additional functionalities like the 360-degree view inside a business. The services are based on priced packages which started with a basic package of 6.95 Euro per month which includes a website built for a business, modules for the website and presence in the app, meaning that for a business this will be a piece of cake to set-up a quick internet base.

The advanced package 21.95 includes additionally website maintenance with relevant content and also a unique domain for the business, e.g. not lokacion.com/businesname. The pricing goes up with the 360 view, to 28.95 Euro per month, which means that customers will be able to see the inside of a business in 360 and interact with certain objects and also find the business while using Street View.

At the moment you can go through the Street View feature and visit a couple of interesting spots captured by the team, and go through the main streets and main square of Prishtina, while if you see a dot close to interesting objects you can go inside one, like for example the Mother Theresa Cathedral.

In general, the young team behind lokacion.com, led by Gent Shala, which started with the idea two years ago, is working out some new ways of marketing for business in Kosovo, while quickly planning to go ahead with services in the regional countries as well. The mobile app will be launched in a few days.
