MalMath, developed by a team of students from Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Prishtina, is a math problem solver with step by step description and graph analysis.
It’s currently available for Android and solves integrals, derivatives, limits, trigonometry, logarithms, equations, and algebra.
Over 1,000,000 downloads
Based on data from App Annie, Malmath has been among top 50 most downloaded educational apps in the United States for a while. On the other hand, data from Play Store shows that the app has between 1,000,000 to 5,000,000 app downloads, with over 48,500 reviews and an average rate of 4.5 out of 5.
The app features step by step description with a detailed explanation for each step. It also offers graph analysis, it generates math problems with several categories and difficulty levels and users can also save or share solutions and graphs.
Malmath is currently available in several languages, including English, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Turkish, Albanian, Croatian, Arabic, Portuguese, Azerbaijani, Russian, Japanese.
The team is based in Prishtina, Kosovo and hasn’t raised any money so far. But now that the product seems mature, they seem to be focused on growth, product updates. and a possible monetization strategy.
