More than 8,000 developers join the first day of We Are Developers

Is not every day that you see over 8,000 developers get together in one place in the beautiful city of Vienna in Austria. But that day started yesterday with the official kick-off of the We Are Developers Conference, a conference that brings together developers and IT professionals from all over Europe in one place.

The aim of the Congress is to connect developers from over 70 countries and encourage sharing of knowledge and experience, and to connect companies and startups with investors, potential clients and partners. Microsoft, Google, Facebook, IBM, SAP, Adidas, Porsche, and Informatik are just some of the top-class corporations that gave their trust to WeAreDevelopers, turning it into a global story.

The Woz, John Romero and many other stellar individuals

This year’s edition of WeAreDevelopers World Congress started with the one and only Steve Wozniak “Woz”, the widely known founder of Apple and a Silicon Valley icon who has spent past three decades shaping the computing industry into what it is today. The main stage was very excited to see the “Woz” share his thoughts and excitement around latest technologies including AI and BlockChain.
