On February 28, Friday, starting from 19.00 in Hobbiton, Prizren, will be held the 9th edition of BarCamp Prizren, which will be organised by the NGO THY and supported by IPKO Foundation. BarCamp Prizren is an informal event supported by the community, which among others it gives a great importance to the interactions between the speaker and the attendants. As in every other BarCamp event, this time you will also have the chance to listen to some great topics.

Elvaris Gjinali is a Web-API developer in the dutch-kosovar company ‘Sprigs’. Gjinali has been working on this company for almost two years now, on the development of applications for the iOS platform (iphone and ipad), Android and other web applications for the dutch companies and government. During this BarCamp edition Elvaris will be representing the ‘Sprigs’ company, its workers and the outsource projects.
Amir E.Aharoni was born in Moscow and lives in Israel. He speaks russian, hebrew, english and catalan. He also edits Wikipedia in all these languages. He has a B.A. in Linguistics and Hebrew language from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and he is studying for an M.A. in Romance studies. He has been editing as a volunteer on Wikipedia, Wikisource, Wiktionary and Wikibooks in the languages above mentioned since 2005. While he was working as a volunteer in Wikipedia he started contributing not just in articles but also in translation, localization and community discussions and as a self-taught programmer he continued his contribution in the software behind the Wikipedia. At the same time he became active on the local Wikimedia community in Israel, including the organization of Wikimania Conference 2011, in Haifa.
