A new state of the art business park is under development by Lindner Projektentwicklungs GmbH in Tirana Tirana Business Park, with a mission to create an excellent working location with over 220,000 square meters, and unique design for 17 buildings – 15 office buildings and 2 parking buildings, an investment totaling 20 million euros.

On the other hand, the Indian property developer Embassy Group has opened IT Park Indjija, a state-of-the-art business park as well which hopes to attract businesses to Indjija, a suburb of Belgrade. The space, which will initially include 25,000 square meters of office space in 4 buildings and is expected to be expanded to 250,000 square meters over the next 5 years.

According to GoalEurope, which broke the news, they have even a webcam for the project, where you can see that there are certain buildings in place, but construction continues.

Both projects, in Albania and as well as in Serbia, are located close to the Airports as well and include also lifestyle commercial zones, hotels, serviced apartments, etc. The IT Park in Tirana has focused also on offering flexible office spaces with a much-focused environment on the green, and as well on best practices from the business parks in Sofia.

Embassy Group has previously developed offices in India which have housed big names like Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, McAfee, Target, Vodafone, Yahoo!, and others. In this case, they are hoping to attract large businesses, provide space for startups, and train the next generation of IT workers.

In addition to being state-of-the-art, the new office park is designed to meet all the criteria for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, so it will serve the local community and be environmentally-friendly, to boot.

The IT park in Albania is planned to complete the construction phase number one during 2012 – 2014, while other details will be updated soon.
