A button that can perform actions based on your configuration! That’s what Pressy is about a hardware button that plugs into the headphone jack of your Android phone and is customizable to trigger a range of functions. The idea received 60.000$ in less than 24Hours (150% of the money that Pressy team needed to get started) and currently has over $500,000 pledged for support on Kickstarter,
The rise of touchscreen technology brought a change to the smartphones; no one would agree that they need more buttons when they have a5-inchh multi-touch screen but when Pressy showed up, everyone noticed what they’ve been missing! A small button, 0.7 mm to be precise which plugs into the headphone jack has the ability to do many functions that you can customize.
Pressy can be used to take a photo, start a voice recording, toggle WiFi on and off, change phone settings, and basically anything else your phone can do. It also comes with a special keychain that you plug Pressy into when you want to use headphones with your handset. When you do, using the in-line headphone control button (providing you have one) then operates Pressy.
