Slovenian and Macedonian telecoms regulators sign cooperation agreement

Slovenia’s Agency for Communication Networks and Services (Akos) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Macedonian Audiovisual and Audiovisual Media Services Agency (AVMU).

The regulators have thus committed themselves to regularly exchanging publicly available data on their activities and national electronic media markets, information on the development of policies and strategies in the field of electronic media regulation in their countries, and information on their national electronic communications regulations.

At the same time, they have committed themselves to closer cooperation in areas of common interest and to find positive solutions for the benefit of both watchdogs.

The Slovenian regulator has so far signed such memoranda with several foreign regulators, including those in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Albania.
