Start Trek 2013, Investors on a Balkan tour

Eleven (www.eleven.bg) and LauncHUB (www.launchub.com), the two most active early stage investors in Europe, are organizing a series of meetups with entrepreneurs from CEE starting October 14 in Belgrade, and followed on the 15th in Zagreb, 16th – Banja Luka, 17th Podgorica and 18th  Pristina. The two funds organize the events in partnership with Domain.me (www.domain.me), Microsoft, and local players in the startup community, and the kind support of Netokracija (www.netokracija.com) and Start.It (www.startit.rs).

Agenda/Speakers

Each meetup will begin with a couple of presentations, giving you insider information and explaining some shortcuts for young technological companies. Dilyan Dimitrov and Ivaylo Simov of Eleven will talk about how to get into an accelerator and what project areas are hot right now. Stan Sirakov of LauncHUB will talk about running fast shortcuts to success. Finally, Domain.me and Microsoft will introduce their programmes for early stage startups.

Pitching Time

Next, you will see several 5-minute pitches by local startups, followed by 5 minute fee feedback from a panel comprised of experienced entrepreneurs and investors. The winner for each pitching contest will get two free tickets to Pioneers Festival one of the best startup events in Europe. START TREK PRISHTINA

The host for the event in Prishtina is Innovation Centre Kosovo, which together with local connector Celik Nimani, who is as well a Eleven Scout for Kosovo/Albania, will be hosting participants on the 18th of October, starting from 17:00.
