Max Gurvits, a US/European entrepreneur, and investor, founded an online legal services company in Amsterdam in 2008 which he sold in 2011 and moved to Bulgaria, where he co-founded one of the biggest regional tech acceleration programs and seed funds (Eleven Startup Accelerator and EUR 12m seed fund), and later an angel investment syndicate, called Teres Angels.
Active in Europe and the Middle East as startup advisor and investor, Max is particularly focused on Eastern Europe and the Balkans. “I honestly believe CEE is the next big thing. Once the hype and EU-funded nitwits are passed, we’ ll see a surge of serious activity, focusing on extremely good local conditions for building global stuff. This will come from increased local founder experience and the transformation of outsourcing capacity towards products.” said Max in an interview with TechCrunch.
His latest adventure is CCC Startups – global network supporting exceptional entrepreneurs in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Middle East & Startup AddVenture – an event that brings together the world’s top startup experts to tomorrow’s high-potential startup hubs.
Max knows the startup scene of the Balkans in depth and he’s well aware of what Kosovo has to offer. He’s preparing a surprise for Dokutech, so don’t miss it…
