The Tech and Tourism Innovation Week hosted at the CBC Innovation Hub in Istog, Kosovo took place today with the participation of more than 50 young participants, 20 out of which were from Montenegro and 30 or more from Kosovo, in a joint effort of cross-border cooperation to develop new ideas around tourism in the region between Kosovo and Montenegro.
The event will be supported by mentors with relevant experience in the field of tourism and technology, while on Saturday they will get to present the best ideas in front of a jury. The most innovative and commercially successful idea will be Â rewarded with up to 3,000.00 Euros, which should serve as an incentive for further development.
The goal of this innovation week program is to promote entrepreneurship and self-employment towards the local youth of Dukagjini Valley in Kosovo and East Montenegro.
This activity is organized as part of the project â€œHarnessing innovation & entrepreneurship in cross-border region of Kosovo and Montenegro, implemented by Kosovo ICT Association – STIKK, in partnership with Syri i Vizionit, financed by the European Union and managed by the European Union office in Kosovo.
This Tech and Tourism Innovation Week is being organized as part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week to promote self-employment and innovation across the region.
