DOKU.TECH, the most important tech conference in the Balkans is coming for the first time to Pristina and bringing some of the world’s most curious minds to discuss ways in which technology shapes society and our lives.
Over Saturday and Sunday festival will present 15 talks, 3 exhibitions, 9 workshops, two movie projections and 6 DJ performances.
Thinkers, artists, and entrepreneurs are coming from San Francisco, Reykjavik, New York, Berlin, Singapore, Boston, Tirana, Belgrade….
Opening speech will be given by Icelandic Pirate Party founder and Wikileaks volunteer Birgitta Jonsdottir and among speakers are also startup investor and philanthropist David Batstone known for his work with U2 and, inventor Matan Berkowitz listed by magazine Forbes as among top 30 under 30 people and Vuk Cosic internet art pioneer and strangest of Rijeka 2020 Capital of Culture project.
Visitors will be able for the first time to play best games from Berlin’s indie gaming festival A MAZE and to learn a lot about their own online life through hit exhibition The Glass Room from New York.
The main part of the Program will be held in Termokiss – newest and most exciting Pristina’s cultural and community center. Gaming workshops will be hosted in Xportal and music program will be held in Club M headlined by Harlem’s best-kept secret Likwuid and Belgrade’s most interesting DJ duo Feloneezy and Jacki Dagger supported by local X-Rated Self Love and Adrian Berisha.
Dokufest, the mother festival of DOKU.TECH is bringing two amazing movies – Herzog’s to “Lo and Behold” and “Future My Love” by Maria Borg.
