Trivia games are among the most popular app categories nowadays on either iOS or Android, and as such engage thousands of downloads, making a huge potential for developers to come up with crazy ideas like Trivia Crack available for free on iOS and Android or QuizUP also available for free on Android and iOS.
Having these trends in mind, a group of developers from Prishtina, Kosovo known as PrDev (Prishtina Developers), have recently launched a new game on Android, called Ngjyrat (eng. Colors) a game which is inspired from the Stroop Effect and engages the player in two mods, through correct / incorrect guessing of the color on screen and through matching the correct color on screen.
The user faces a timed bar when in “Correct / Incorrect Mode”, which means that you have to say if the color in the background matches the color name written, while in the “Real Colors Mode” the user has to see which color is on screen and click on the correct thumbnail of the color. You can match results and compare them with friends around the world, and on top of everything, you can use it as a brain training game.
While Ngjyrat shares a great minimal design and feels very easy to use, you can find other similar apps on Play Store as well that have different approaches to the user engagement, while on iOS there are alternatives like Colormania, Crazy Wheel or Guess the Color.
