Vala announced the launch of the long-awaited 3G and 4G mobile internet services, part of a series of investments under a new strategy by the company to regain customers and get back on track.
After IPKO announced the launch of its 4G services for today for selected areas, the other state-owned operator Vala announced today the launch of the fastest mobile network services, thus finally entering into the same level with the other telecom operator IPKO and finally offering the possibility to a great mobile experience to over 1 million customers.
The 3G network will be working firstly in the capital of Kosovo, Prishtina and in the airport, while in the upcoming weeks it will be launched in other cities of the country. Through the latest investments, Vala will expand its network using GPON Technology, a process oriented only in 7 locations. PTK in general plans to invest 100 million euros in 2014 – 2015 focused on 3G/LTE, GPON, BTS connection with fiber, advancing business infrastructure, launching new services, etc.
