The International CES is the world’s largest tradeshow for consumer technology and America’s largest annual tradeshow of any kind. With more than four decades of success, the Consumer Electronics Show reaches across global markets, connects the “who’s who” of the industry and enables consumer electronics (CE) innovations to grow and thrive.
The event is launching officially on 6-9 January 2015 in Las Vegas, while the buzz around the electronics that are about to be showcased keeps getting louder and louder. We here so many things from many media channels out there and some of the best tech stuff to come up is mentioned on a couple of them:
- The Verge – Gadgets are back
- TechCrunch – CES will be lousy with wearable
- Mashable – All the CES you can get
From a couple of things we are excited about as well, we want to mention just a few. The Withings Activite Pop, a fitness tracking watch just like it’s predecessor, but with additional materials, looks and pricing. The Withings brand is getting quite some addition in the wearable industry, and in general in the complete health industry with different hardware devices, and this time in CES 2015 it shall be no different. The unique stuff around Withing Activite is that the watch looks just like a regular watch but all the magic is hidden inside. Quite a strong competitor for Pebble, which is expected to announce a new model in the near future.
Beyond Withings, there are plenty of more companies expected to launch wearable products which are supposed to have their year in 2015, while shifting the focus forward to the other fields of tech products, looks like cars are the next thing. Parrot, a company known for drones, is announcing a new product – RBN6 which makes it easily to work with Google and Apple devices, inside cars and fit right in the dashboard, where you can access your apps with ease.
Of course there is plenty of other stuff going on, like laser beams from car headlights, crazy fitness trackers, environment recording or mobile gaming, so stay tuned with the latest on different media channels and follow us as well for a little bit of everything.
